2) or private hospitals (for categories 3,4 &amp; 5).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Stay at Langkawi Island \/ Malaysia (after 7 days)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Foreign tourists who wish to remain on Langkawi Island for more than seven (7) days or proceed to the next destination either within or outside Malaysia after the 7<sup>th<\/sup> day must take the RT-PCR COVID-19 \/ RMT test:<ul><li>On the 7<sup>th<\/sup> day if going to another destination in Malaysia; or<\/li><li>2 days before leaving Malaysia<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>If tested negative, foreign tourists can exit Langkawi Island through the domestic exit (air or sea).<\/li><li>At exit, document inspection to confirm:<ul><li>Minimum seven (7) days stay on Langkawi Island<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Negative RT-PCR COVID-19 \/ RMT test results<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If found symptomatic or tested positive, the tour operator \/ travel agent must report to the appointed MOH \/ private health screening facility to transfer the tourist to a designated isolation \/ quarantine location (for categories 1 &amp; 2) or private hospitals (for categories 3,4 &amp; 5).<\/li><li>Upon exiting Langkawi Island, foreign tourists can choose whether to use a tour \/ travel operator licensed with MOTAC or continue the holidays as a Free Independent Traveller (FIT).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Departure for home outside of Malaysia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Tourists must take the RT-PCR COVID-19 \/ RMT 2 days before departing Malaysia<\/li><li>If found symptomatic or tested positive, the tourist will be sent to a designated isolation \/ quarantine location (for categories 1 &amp; 2) or a private hospital (for categories 3,4 &amp; 5)<\/li><li>If tested negative, tourists are allowed to leave Malaysia<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>General information for travel to Langkawi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Travel to Langkawi Island shall be by air transport, either via Kuala Lumpur \/ Penang (technical stop only) or directly to Langkawi Island<\/li><li>Foreign tourists must stay a minimum of 3 days on Langkawi Island<\/li><li>Fully vaccinated with a vaccine recognized by the Ministry of Health Malaysia:<ul><li>Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech);<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Covishield (Oxford-AstraZeneca);<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>CoronaVac (Sinovac);<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Convidecia (CanSino);<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>COVID-19 Janssen (Johnson &amp; Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent \/ guardian who is fully vaccinated<\/li><li>All tourists must download, register and activate the MySejahtera application on their mobile phones \/ electronic device AND fill in the health information in the application before departing to Malaysia.
