IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

In light of the heightened tensions in the Middle East, several countries across the region have experienced escalating security concerns. These developments have resulted in airspace closures, flight cancellations, and route diversions, impacting international travel plans.

Following this, Tune Protect wishes to extend its support to Tune Protect Travel Insurance policyholders departing from and returning to Malaysia affected by these circumstances. The support measures include:

  1. Extension of insurance coverage
    For travellers who are currently overseas and whose return journeys have been delayed due to these developments, Tune Protect will provide an extension of insurance coverage for travel period up to 15 March 2026*.
  2. Change of date for insurance coverage
    For travellers who are unable to proceed with their trips due to the current development, Tune Protect allows a one-time change to the effective date of their insurance coverage. This allows travellers to align the insurance policy with the rescheduled trips, provided the new start date / departure date is on or before 30 June 2026*.

Customers are encouraged to review their policy details carefully to understand the scope of coverage applicable to their situation.
