Tune Protect Travel - AirAsia (Annual Plan) is a comprehensive insurance plan designed specifically for the needs of an Individual and a Family who will be travelling domestically or internationally on any airlines. The major benefits provided are medical related benefits, personal accident benefits, travel inconvenience benefits and 24/7 Worldwide Travel Assistance (departure from Malaysia only).

Perlindungan Perjalanan Tune- AirAsia (Pelan Tahunan) adalah pelan insurans komprehensif yang direka khusus untuk keperluan Individu dan Keluarga yang akan melakukan perjalanan dalam negara atau antarabangsa di mana-mana syarikat penerbangan. Manfaat utama yang disediakan adalah manfaat berkaitan perubatan, manfaat kemalangan peribadi, manfaat ketidakselesaan perjalanan dan 24- jam Perkhidmatan Bantuan Perjalanan Seluruh Dunia (Pelepasan dari Malaysia sahaja).

2. What is the age limit to purchase Tune Protect Travel - AirAsia (Annual Plan)?
Apakah had umur untuk membeli Perlindungan Perjalanan Tune- AirAsia (Pelan Tahunan)?

Family Plan: Minimum 30 days and up to maximum of 75 years.
Individual Plan: Age band is between 18 to 75 years old.

 

Pelan Keluarga: Minimum 30 hari dan sehingga maksimum 75 tahun.

Pelan Individu: Kumpulan umur adalah antara 18 hingga 75 tahun.

3. Who is eligible to purchase?
Siapakah yang layak untuk membeli?

All Malaysians or Residents who have a permanent address in Malaysia and are departing from Malaysia.

4. Who is covered under the Family Plan?

You, your legal spouse (optional), and all your accompanying children aged between 30 days and 21 years old.

5. Can I purchase Tune Protect Travel - AirAsia (Annual Plan) after I departed and still be covered?

No. You must purchase the cover prior to your scheduled departure.

6. What is the maximum period of coverage?

This plan covers multiple trips over the period of one year. The maximum number of days of coverage per trip is limited to 60 consecutive days.

7. If I am travelling to multiple countries within a year, do I need to buy a separate plan for each country? Which area should I select?

If you are travelling to multiple countries within a year, you can be covered under one policy. Please select the furthest country as listed under our area of coverage.

8. What plan should I buy if I were to travel domestic (within Malaysia) and overseas in a single trip?

You are required to purchase 2 separate plans ie. Domestic Plan and Worldwide Plan.

9. Will I be covered for an illness that I am already suffering from or have suffered in the past?

No. Tune Protect Travel - AirAsia (Annual Plan) does not cover any pre-existing conditions occurring within 120 Days prior to the policy effective date.

Tidak. Perlindungan Perjalanan Tune - AirAsia (Pelan Tahunan) tidak melindungi sebarang keadaan sedia ada yang berlaku dalam tempoh 120 Hari sebelum tarikh berkuat kuasa polisi.

10. Can the policy be cancelled?
Bolehkah polisi dibatalkan?

You may cancel your policy by emailing us at [email protected] within the 14 days cooling-off period. However, if you cancel your policy after issuance, your policy will be cancelled from the 1st day of the month following a cancellation request and refund of premium is in accordance with the short period rate table used by us for the unused period of cover. Please note that stamp duty RM10 is Non-refundable for Annual Plan

14. What should I do if I require medical evacuation?

In the event of you requiring medical evacuation or repatriation please contact Asia Assistance Network (M) Sdn Bhd as soon as possible at +603-7628 3630 or email [email protected]. In this instance, it is cashless i.e. you will not be required to pay except where the ‘benefit’ limit has been exceeded.

Sekiranya anda memerlukan pemindahan rawatan atau penghantaran balik sila hubungi Asia Assistance Network (M) Sdn Bhd secepat mungkin di +603-7628 3630 atau hantarkan e-mel kepada [email protected]. 15. Do I have to pay my medical bills abroad?
Adakah saya perlu membayar bil perubatan saya di luar negara?

In cases requiring medical attention but not relating to evacuation or repatriation, you shall have to pay the costs of the medication and seek reimbursement.

Dalam kes-kes yang memerlukan perhatian perubatan tetapi tidak berkaitan dengan pemindahan atau penghantaran balik, anda perlu membayar kos ubat dan mendapatkan bayaran balik.

16. Am I insured whilst pregnant?

Yes, you are. However, you are NOT covered in any cases of miscarriage or childbirth, or any treatment relating to birth control or treatment pertaining to infertility or any other complication arising there from.

18. How are claims paid?

Payment of any claim shall be in Ringgit Malaysia (via e-payment) or its equivalent in other currencies (by Bank Draft) at the prevailing rate as per Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia) at the time of effecting payment.

Pembayaran apa-apa tuntutan hendaklah dalam Ringgit Malaysia (melalui e-pembayaran) atau yang sama nilai dengannya dalam mata wang lain (oleh Draf Bank) pada kadar semasa seperti Bank Negara Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia) pada masa pembayaran.

19. Can I continue enjoy the coverage for the remaining months if there is a claim paid out?

Your Annual policy will cease coverage when Your Personal Accident Benefits claim is completely paid up (100% of the sum insured stated on the Schedule of Benefits).
