  1. The cancelled trip must be insured by Tune Protect Travel Insurance
  2. The Travel Insurance policy must have been purchased prior to 12 October 2023 and has not been cancelled
  3. The commencement date of the policy must be from 12 October 2023 and onwards
  4. This payout applies exclusively to flight tickets acquired with MYAirlines as the designated carrier, valid for travel starting from 12 October 2023 and onwards
  5. The payout will amount to 50% of the flight ticket price, nett of any discount, subject to a maximum of RM200 per passenger

If you’re travelling in a group, select the Group plan to purchase insurance for everyone in the group at one go. It’s fast and easy! Here’s how it works:
  1. Maximum of 30 adults in a Group plan
  2. Qualifying age: 18 – 80 years old

  4. Senior travellers (56 – 80 years old) must purchase a separate individual or group plan
  5. Each traveller in the group will have their own individual travel policy
Will you be travelling regularly in the coming year? You can purchase an Annual Cover that covers all your trips for a period of 12 months. Save time and money, and travel worry-free!

Things to note:
  • Coverage duration per leisure trip: 30 days (worldwide travel)
  • Coverage duration per business trip: 90 days (worldwide travel)
  • For Domestic travel, the duration of cover is 30 days for each leisure or business trip
  • Annual Trip insurance does not include COVID-19 coverage
  • One Way Trip is not covered under Annual Cover
  • One Way Trip: 72 hours from the first arrival date at the Country of Arrival, OR, upon checking in at point of immigration for travel outside of Country of Area, whichever comes first.
  • Return Trip: 180 consecutive days for an overseas trip, 45 days for domestic travel
  • Annual Trip: 30 consecutive days for an overseas leisure travel trip and 90 consecutive days for an overseas business travel trip; 30 days for domestic travel
If you are travelling to multiple countries within the same trip, you can be covered under one policy. Simply enter the furthest country that you will be visiting to get your plan quotation.

Please submit your claim within 30 days of you becoming aware of an incident or loss leading to a claim.

For loss or damage caused by theft during the trip, a report must be made at the nearest police station or relevant authorities within the jurisdiction where the incident took place within 24 hours of the incident. You must also notify the relevant airline authorities of missing luggage at the scheduled destination point and to obtain a property irregularity report.
Single Trip Cover:
  • We will refund in full the premium paid if you cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances prior to the date of departure and you will not make any claim for travel and cancellation charges.
  • We will not refund any premium paid if you cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances prior to the date of departure and we have agreed to pay claims for travel and cancellation charges.
  • We will not refund any premium paid if you cancel the policy due to reasons other than unforeseen circumstances prior to the date of departure.
  • No refund is allowed for cancellation of policy after commencement of insurance

Unforeseen Circumstances refers to:
  1. Your death or the death of an immediate family member ; or
  2. Bodily Injury or sickness that requires treatment by a medical practitioner which results in that medical practitioner certifying in writing that you or an immediate family member is unfit to begin or continue the trip; or
  3. Unexpected outbreak or strike, riot or civil commotion arising out of circumstances beyond your control.
Annual Cover
  1. We will charge you the premium in accordance with the scale of refund if You cancel your Annual Cover Policy after commencement of insurance.
  2. We will not refund any premium paid if you cancel your Annual Cover Policy and We have agreed to pay any claim under the Policy or there has been an occurrence of any event for which a claim may be payable under the Policy.
No, you must purchase travel insurance before your scheduled departure.

Please purchase your insurance as early as possible to enjoy the Trip Cancellation benefit. Trip cancellation benefit will only be reimbursed if you purchase the insurance at a minimum of 7 days prior to commencement of your trip.
Unfortunately, any amendments or changes must be made prior to your departure from Malaysia. Your insurance will be effective the moment you depart from Malaysia. No amendment/extension can be made after that.
Yes, Negative RTK/PCR test results taken within 72 hours prior to Scheduled Flight is a requirement for benefits under COVID-19 Coverage unless this is not part of the testing & quarantine procedure imposed by the government of the destination country at the time You travel into the Country of Arrival.
